Permissions Requests
Publishing houses and authors requesting permission to use any part of a Juta publication in a new publication can apply for permission to do so here. Before sending a permissions request, we ask that you check that Juta is the original copyright holder of the extract or work you wish to use by checking the source at the bottom of a diagram or table and/or the acknowledgement page or imprint page.

Please make your permission request by completing the Copyright Permission Form which needs to be e-mailed to AcademicPermissions@juta.co.za.

Photocopying Requests
Should you wish to reproduce multiple copies of any part of the material in a Juta publication –  be it text, illustrations, diagrams or graphics – please obtain the necessary license to do so. To make a photocopying or reprographic request please contact:

Should DALRO refer you back to Juta, please make your request by completing the attached Reprographic Request Form which needs to be e-mailed to AcademicPermissions@juta.co.za.

Applying for Foreign rights, Translation rights or Electronic rights
Subsidiary rights applications: To obtain rights to publish, display in electronic format, reprint, or to translate a title published by Juta, you will need apply for the necessary license or rights.
